Anatolian Languages and Cultures Panel IX

The “Anatolian Languages and Cultures Panel Series” within the scope of the Whispers of Extinct Languages III Online Exhibition continue!

The ninth of the panel series will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Rezan Has Museum with the speech of Asst. Prof. Kutlu Akalın.

In his speech titled “Classical Syriac: A Living Language Dating Back to Ancient Times”, Kutlu Akalın will focus on the formation of Classical Syriac, its role in the development of language and writing in Mesopotamia, and its witness to Anatolian history.

*The panel will be held in Turkish. Participation is open to everyone and free.
